Bremerhaven.

My first katana, and I’m very impressed. It’s solidly made, and looks good. It’s coming from China so it will take more than a week to arrive.
Just recived my katana, iam vary pleased.definlety would do a number on some, zoombie’s.it’s the real deal.you can’t go wrong for the price.
All must bow before the this ninja and his deadly red blade. Super sharp. Now I clear my house in style like a man. A ninja man.
Beautiful sword! Overall, I was very happy with it when it came in the mail today. It’s sharp, solid, and an overall good quality sword. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the blade doesn’t line up with the handle, making for poor cuts. If that were fixed, it would be an awesome battle ready sword.
It was very good.
I purchased this Katana to protect myself from zombies. You can imagine my disappointment when shipping was so slow that zombies had killed my whole family before it finally got to me. However, when it finally got here I was very impressed with the attention to detail. It is very sharp and light weight. The colors are beautiful. I have already used it to kill 7 zombies. One of which was the UPS man who had me sign for it. I didn’t get a good look at him before I struck, but he appears to have turned back into a human after my fatal blow. I am currently hiding in a window well and spying on the zombies to learn their ways. When the time is right, I will strike. 5/5 would buy again!
I have many swords in my collection, right around 30 or so, with most coming from Amazon and ranging from $25 – $300 in purchase price. That collection includes everything from Whetstone to Shinwa, with both awful and awesome swords coming from Master Cutlery and United Cutlery names, with nearly all of them being katanas, ninjatos, nodachis, or zatoichis (plus a couple of FF7-style ‚buster‘ swords). I was looking at adding a ninjato from Ten Ryu when I came across this Boker one, and I took the plunge on it instead.
Great Very nicely made and looks quite authentic.
This thing is very well made and extremely sharp dropped an orange from about a foot onto the sharp side and the orange hit the ground after splitting in half
Excellent training value for your $$. I own several of these. They are basically unbreakable, unlike oak or kamagong wood bokken, of which I have broken many. These polypro bokken are not as rigid as wood, so be aware of that. Also you’ll want to put tape on the grip area, the polypro gets slippery when you’re training and your hands are sweaty.
This sword is the best in my collection, and you can’t get a better sword made in Japan for this price!
This is a sturdy katana, thicker than most blades used for tatami cutting. It is alo heavier and takes some practice to get used to, but when you are used to it, it slices through tatami mats like it is air! Very happy with it, so far no bend in it, while thinner blade katanas in use need work when hitting tatami the wrong way.
This is a pretty nice sword however for the money there are better swords. When i received mine i saw on the blade that it appeared to have 2 hamons… yeah one was much more prominent than the other and its hardly noticeable and blade also looks scratchy. the tsuka was very nice and all the fittings were nice. All in all this is a good buy, you will be satisfied
Very well made, better than I expected for the price. Not razor sharp, but probably the best buy in it’s price range. I’ve bought several Cold Steel products they are all extremely well made.
The katana is not as tight in the scabbard(top of the Wakizashi) as the Wakizashi is in the scabbard. This makes it easy to pull out the katana with out revealing the hidden Wakizashi.
Excellent quality laminated steel, excellent blacksmithing, beautifully finished blade, excellent balance, excellent sharpness, excellent scabbard, perfect in every detail. This guy is a master craftsman!
Looks good and the price is not bad. Blade needs to have a better edge put on it but it will do for now. If one is looking good back yard cutting blade this is it.
Love it came to me just as they said it would and by far the sharpest blade I ever got out of box. Very happy
It was all I hoped for in a functional sword.
Seems to be well built. Sharp! Nice looking. Arrived on time. Definitely a sword. Probably buy another one or something different from this vendor.
This is perfect. Its made with nice strong damascus steel. They didn’t over do it on the oil they put on the blade its not to heavy, and its well balanced. Its a high quality sword for an affordable price.
WOW. Awsome item and very sharp
This is an extremely unique sword(s). The design is very clever and a great addition to any sword collection!
This is the %$#@ ; I mean to say it is battle battle ready and then some. I really love the color.
This is my seventh samurai sword that I have purchased over the past 25 years. I must say that I was very impressed with the overall quality of this sword. It has a great feel of balance and strength and looks like a sword that you might otherwise pay around $800. The Tsuba (handgaurd) is beautifully detailed along with the rest of the sword ornamentation. I am extremely happy to add this beautiful sword to my collection.
Very nice quality.
Blade was not nearly as sharp as any other cold steel knife or sword ive bought before
I love this sword! The coloring is beautiful and it came oiled with a plastic covering to protect the blade during shipping. I would have given it a full five stars, but the sheathe does not actually fit the blade, so the Katana knocks against the wood when it’s sheathed, unlike the Mashiro that I bought earlier. Still a beautiful and sharp sword, just disappointed in the ill fit.
Awesome quality sword everything is tight and good quality especially the scabbard I was super impressed with this product for the money thank u so much Amazon I love this item!
this is definitely a good buy if you are looking for a quality sword for a low price. I beat it against a tree and it still stayed together nice and tight.
Bought it when it was in the 10.00 range. My son loves it and now I don’t have to keep wasting money on toy swords that break shortly after light to moderate use.
One of the strongest blades I won that isn’t truly Damascus steel, but is very close to the strength of such. This blade has a good weight to it, which makes it very easy to cut through many things given it has a sharp edge, which mine does. The design and construction are marvelous and I would definitely give this blade some consideration if you are looking for a good sword.
this sword came in very sharp and it look no different from the picture. I love the sword. amazon has wonderful sword………thank you
beautiful and extremely well made sword. Bought two of them one for myselff and a collector
The sword is oilde not too light not too thick, its edge is not as sharp as it could be but is still battle ready, I’d suggest getting a wet stone to sharpen. The steel is a modern way of recreating Damascus steel so it is Damascus steel in a way. The sword is pretty well balanced and its only flaw is the handle isn’t as pretty but with looking at it more thoroughly its very sturdy. No katana is meant for cutting tree limbs as no sword should be used as such, the metal is long so it will bend if hit against something its not meant for. Although bamboo is tougher its also hollow. Don’t forget to oil it every once in a while as it is a metal that can rust. Treat ur sword with respect and proper use and it will last. It is in fact a great sword and I’m still loving it.
Unless your going to spend a lot more money this is hard to beat. Thinking about buying another. One day I’ll spend big money but I won’t have fun with it like I do with this one.
Seems awesome. Using it for practice and meditation, i love it.
Not bad for price. If you want it super sharp you will have to work on it. Heft and balance ok. Scabbard fits well. No rattle so far. I haven’t tried cutting with it yet.
Absolutely deadly!!! This sword looks like it was meant for slashing through meat. Wow! Great quality blade and well worth the price!!!
I got one like this. The one i like is the blade very sharp and solid
wow I want to thank you for this informative read, I really appreciate sharing this great post.
Durable, looks nice, and well made. It also feels good in the hand.
Great sword! I did a lot of research and this is the best sword I could find at this price..
beautiful sword. was NOT customized as per my request(they could have just said no, i still would have bought it), but whatever, i’ll just buy more swords(probably not from this seller, tho). it is still a fine addition to my collection. on par with other swords in this price range, but barely. hamon appears to be real, as far as i can tell. beautiful, shiny finish, almost flawless. unique saya and tsuba. i got the sword in the pics and i am happy with it. it makes a LOUD chopping noise, which is very cool, but i think i would have preferred it without bo-hi, as i am more interested in devastating damage than sounding cool. i do not think this one will be getting much use in the bamboo grove.
It was all I hoped for in a functional sword.
Increcibly Bokken. The weight was light but still felt strong. I’m a new learner to kenjustu and I would have to say that this sword will do you well in training.
My first katana and I love it. Well balanced blade and the fact that they engrave for free is nice. I got the electroplated black instead of red. The way they ship it is fantastic. Completely wrapped up in Styrofoam to ensure safe overseas travel. I would definitely buy again. Detail on the katana is nice too. Hope this helps.
Absolutely fabulous sword. Better product than I expected.I am looking for a short sword and tonto from the same company that produced this one!
It’s a good sword for decoration ONLY not for training or anything of the sort lol I made that retarded mistake
This sword is beautiful! It came promptly, is sharp, has a beautiful Hamon line, beautiful scabbard; I couldn’t be happier!
It’s my first Samuri Sword, so I’m happy with the price and product. Lighter and a better blade or so, will cost a lot more, but this fits well.
Great quality at this price.
This sword is not only of obvious high quality in all of its components and workmanship but it is also tough, elegant and beautiful. The people who made it certainly knew what they were doing and I am amazed it is offered at such an affordable price. I saw swords similar to this without the added cleaning kit starting at $550. Thank you
I chop full branches worth it …it was sweet my boy was like omg be careful of cleansing tool I th ought I was gonna die with the glass sheds in the powder patch
Just as advertised. Very study build and tightly wrapped grip. Dollar for dollar it’s hard to do better than these Musashi swords.
WOW. Awsome item and very sharp
Godammm this sword is beautiful. Well made. Looks authentic
This is an extremely unique sword(s). The design is very clever and a great addition to any sword collection!
In a word: beautiful! This sword is far more than its price suggests it will be. I use it for Tai Chi Sword training. It’s heft and balance ire spot on. I am a happy customer.
Great quality sword for the price.
Very pleased with this high quality product. It is a nice weapon and can be sharpened to the point you can shave with it! For the money, it is difficult to find a better blade. Enjoy!!
This sword came just as shown, and is in top quality. There is but one minor complaint, but it doesn’t affect the product in any way: There is a slight flaw where the cord wraps around the saya, and a small scratch going up an inch along the saya, from that point. Again, it’s nothing to worry about. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase, and I will buy from the seller again, if I see another sword I like.
Fantastic quality for the money! Great buy!
This Was bought as a cosplay prop weapon and works amazingly
I got one like this. The one i like is the blade very sharp and solid
Very nice value. Beyond my expectations
It’s awesome! it was packaged with extra care and arrived in two slim boxes that I tested the sword on. It’s super sharp, not razor sharp but sharp enough to do damage. I wouldn’t say you could cut through a person but definitely fatally wound them which I don’t plan on doing.
Have admired this incredibly detailed sword for about one hour now just staring at it. It’s a breathtaking piece of beauty and I am now a proud owner of 2 swords made by Handmade sword company. I`m very happy with this sword!
Amazing quality from the ancient masters of longquan!!! Worth the 600 the sword dealers get for less than half here!!! AAAAAAA+++++++++
For the price I couldn’t be happier with this sword. I debated spending a lot more money and getting a sword with much more pedigree. I’m very glad I decided to take a risk. There is no wobble at all in the sword. The blade is beautiful and for entertainment I went outside and pruned a few trees. The blade worked as well or better than a machete even though it’s a thicker blade. If the blade did not bend and it is still very sharp. I was very impressed as I swung very hard.
Nice sword but quite sharp. My 19 year old son accidently sliced his leg for 9 stitches without even swinging the sword. Be careful and make sure you have medical insurance.
It’s a really nice sword, seems put together well,(solid). I would have given a five star if it would have had a blade that was better sharpened. The blade was sharp just not real sharp. But for the most part a – nice sword.
The sword came in faster than expected, and met my high expectations. It is razor sharp, there are no knicks, and it feels as if it was built to last. In my opinion, this sword is worth the money.
I spent hours going through the hundreds (thousands?) of swords offered by Amazon, attempting to find a high quality Samurai Sword that I could afford. After looking at many prospects, I saw this beauty that was hand forged and folded and less than $200. Could this be possible? It looked good and I had a good intuition about it so I took a chance and ordered it. Am I ever glad I did.
It was everything I expected
Beautiful steel work.
Excellent sword, just as described…five stars
I love this sword. So pretty. Great weight!
Clean rust free sword as expected.
I choose this katana because it is a great value for the amount of quality you get. The design is very nice and the blade is very sharp. At this time I have it displayed in my living room and it looks great! I highly recommend this Katana especially for anyone with a tight budget.
